Sponsoring Chicago Northside Mini Maker Faire means supporting project-based learning at neighborhood schools. It means giving young people a voice to share their work with the public. Every year, more than 50% of our exhibits are run by students showcasing work they’ve done in class, or school-aged children and teenagers showcasing personal talents and interests. Our Makers reflect the diversity of our community. As a result, our attendees, who arrive from all over the Chicagoland area, range from 0 – 80 years of age, and everyone learns something new.
